Carabao Cup: Iheanacho Targets First Appearance For Leicester, Iwobi Eyes Another Everton Goal

Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho will seek to make his first appearance of the season for Leicester City when the Foxes take on Luton Town in a Carabao Cup today (Tuesday), Completesports.com reports.

Iheanacho has been overlooked by Brendan Rodgers this term despite his impressive pre-season form.

He has failed to make the matchday squad in the Foxes’ last four games.

Iheanacho has scored four goals in eight appearances for Leicester City and his former club, Manchester City.

Alex Iwobi and his Everton teammates will face Sheffield United in another third round tie at the Bramall Lane.

Iwobi was on target in Everton’s 4-2 win against Lincoln City in the previous round.

Oghenekaro Etebo will hope to make his second Carabao Cup appearance for Stoke City when they face Crawley Town.

Etebo made a substitute appearance for Stoke City in the second round away win against Leeds United.

If Kelechi Iheanacho does not get playtime in this match, brothers, let’s call it a wrap for this once a promising young Nigerian.

    IT’S DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL.
