Iheanacho To Join Besiktas On Loan In January

Turkish giants Besiktas are seeking a January loan move for Nigeria forward Kelechi Iheanacho, reports Completesports.com.

Iheanacho, 23, is yet to make a league appearance for Leicester City this season.

The Nigeria international has only played as a substitute in the Carabao Cup.

According to reports emanating from Turkey, he is now set for loan move to Besiktas when the trasnfer window opens in January

Iheanacho linked up Leicester City from Manchester City two years ago for around 25-million pounds but has struggled to make an impact while Jamie Vardy leads the line in Brendan Rodgers’ side.

He failed to make Nigeria’s squad to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt due to his poor club form.

Would have preferred to see a move to Belgium France or even Cocacola 2nd divish team in England because Turkish league is for retirement players

I hope this move will revive this boy’s career. Such a shame a talent like that is wasting on the bench.

Turkey is a point of no-return for young players like Iheanacho. Don’t go there if you still care for your career.

For those saying why Turkey, at this time na “anywhere belle face”. He is being “underdeployed” in England, so wishing Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium is futile.
Awoniyi is in Germany, how is it helping his ministry? Onyekuru left Turkey to France, and as a result lost his playing spot for both country and club.
It’s not the location that matters, it’s finding a club that fits. A club that will guarantee playing time. Not whether they speak French, Flemish or Turkish.
Let’s be serious here, Nacho needs playing time to show his quality. Whether it is France, Turkey or Belgium does not matter one bit

    • BigD, be it Austria, Scotland, Russia or Turkey, yes, Iheanacho badly needs playing time!

I could not agree with you more.

Look at Sadiq Umar; okay Serbia is not an ideal location. But he is playing regularly and scoring goals, even in the Europa league!

That is doing his confidence and career opportunities a world of good.

Iheanacho needs to leave Leicester to play regularly in a decent or half-decent league.
