Samuel Chukwueze has expressed his willingness to continue playing as a right wing-back for AC Milan after impressing in the unfamiliar role.
The Nigeria international, who spent last season on loan at Premier League club Fulham, made a positive impact as Milan secured a 2-1 victory over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande on Sunday night.
Chukwueze provided the assist for the Rossoneri’s second goal, capping an impressive display on the right flank.
The winger looked comfortable operating as a wing-back, using his pace and energy to support Milan’s attack while also carrying out his defensive responsibilities.
Chukwueze Embraces New Role
Chukwueze has now declared that he is ready to embrace the new role and is happy to play wherever he is needed by the team.

“I’m ready, it’s my job, I’ll give it my all,” Chukwueze told DAZN.
Perfect Start To New Season
Chukwueze also expressed delight with his impressive start on his return to Italy amid continued speculation surrounding his future at AC Milan.
“I’m happy to be back like this, it gives me confidence,” he added.
“I wanted to start the season like this, I’m happy.
“But now that’s already in the past, let’s focus on the next one.”
Ruben Amorim’s side will take on Serie A newcomers Venezia in their next league .
