Serie A giant Inter Milan and Union of European Football Association (UEFA) have congratulated former Nigeria international Taribo West on his 50th birthday.
Inter and UEFA took to their X handles to send their birthday wishes.
Inter wrote on their handle:”Many happy returns, Taribo!
“#ForzaInter.”
On their part, UEFA posted a photo of Taribo on their Champions League X handle in a Super Eagles jersey and his famous hairstyle.

Taribo played for Inter from 1997 to 1999 before crossing over to city rivals AC Milan in 2000.

In his two seasons at Inter, Taribo won the Europa League title (formerly UEFA Cup) in the 1997/98 season.
He featured for Auxerre from 1993 to 1997 and played a key role as they won the Ligue 1 in 1997.
Other clubs he featured for include Obanta United, Sharks, Julius Berger (all in Nigeria), Derby Country (loan in 2000/2001), Kaiserslautern, Partizan, Al Arabi and Plymouth Argyle.
Taribo was part of the Flying Eagles squad that crashed out in the group stage of the 1993 U-20 AFCON in Mauritius.
He was a key member of the U-23 Eagles dubbed ‘Dream Team’s that won gold in the football event at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic games.
He made his Super Eagles debut in 1994, made 42 appearances before calling it quit with the team in 2005.
During his time in the Eagles, he played in two AFCONs (2000 and 2002) and two FIFA World Cups (1998 and 2002).
