Inter Youngster On Seagulls Radar

Brighton are reportedly eyeing a swoop for Inter Milan defender Ryan Nolan but face competition from Championship club Leeds United. Seagulls boss Graham Potter has kept his powder dry in the transfer market, with just Leandro Trossard and Matt Clarke arriving to date but that might be about to change.

Much depends on the situation surrounding Lewis Dunk and whether he moves to Leicester City if Harry Maguire leaves the Foxes but Potter may be about to pre-empt the situation and move for Nolan. The 20-year-old has been with Inter since 2015 but failed to make a first-team appearance and it may be that his days at the Giuseppe Meazza are now numbered.

Born in the Republic of Ireland, the youngster has flown under the radar with a lack of exposure at Inter but Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is thought to be an admirer and may make a move, according to Italian media outlet, Triveneto Goal. It would then be up to Brighton to show their hand if they are serious about trying to sign Nolan.
