Inzaghi – Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has revealed Ciro Immobile wants to face Sevilla in the Europa League but his fitness won’t be risked. The 28-year-old Italy international recently suffered “an elongation of the left thigh flexor” and was forced to miss last Thursday’s 1-0 Serie A win against Empoli.
Immobile has made a good recovery this week and is keen to line up against former club Sevilla at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday.

But Inzaghi is adamant he will not feature if there are any doubts surrounding his fitness levels, with a packed fixture schedule on the horizon. Inzaghi said “Immobile wants to play,” he said. “He hasn’t yet trained with the team, we don’t want to take any risks. We know the importance of tomorrow but we have lots of matches to consider.”
