Chidozie Awaziem has expressed his delight after making a winning debut with Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit FC Cincinnati.
The Nigeria international recently linked up with Patrick Noonan’s side from Portuguese club, Boavista.
Awaziem made his debut for FC Cincinnati in the Leagues Cup 1-0 victory over Querétaro.

The victory was Cincinnati’s first in three games.
“It feels amazing. It feels great to be part of this wonderful club. I’m excited and happy that we came out with the three points,” he told the club’s official website.
“Honestly, I didn’t feel there was any need for me to go out because I wanted to help the team more. I was feeling good, so I felt that there was no point going out to the bench.”
FC Cincinnati also made it to the knockout stage of the Leagues Cup last year.
