‘It Was Too Cold For Extra Time’- Iheanacho Thrilled To Score Late Winner Vs Brighton

Kelechi Iheanacho is delighted to help Leicester City secure a place in the quarter-final stage of the Emirates FA Cup following Wednesday’s 1-0 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, reports Completesports.com.

The Nigeria international scored the decisive goal on 90 minutes.

Iheanacho was positioned perfectly in the six-yard box to head home a Youri Tielemans cross, following a quick corner, with virtually the last kick of the game.

“I’m really happy, everyone is smiling. It was too cold, everybody wanted to get home so I’m glad I could get the winner in 90 minutes!” Iheanacho told LCTV after the game.

“The manager called me to be ready to come in and I was ready to help the team and get the win.

“It was really cold out there. Everyone was freezing. When I scored we were all happy. We really wanted to go home. We are looking forward to the next round now.

“Everyone is happy in the dressing room. They are saying I saved them from cold.”

Haha cheeky tw.t!actually it was -2 in the UK last night so a good thing you got everyone in the stadium to go home early saving them from possible flu and that includes the Brighton players and crew hehe, had the game gone into extra time.LMAO!
Nacho the crusader!Ahahaha…In march it wont be freezing in Benin republic and Lagos thank God for that!but that’s no reason for you not to score haha I know the Lagos fans may want to beat the busy Lagos traffic so you got to jump highest again to get everyone out of the stadium early enough!

Never being in doubt of Nachos talent but ever so frustrating watching such talent wasting on the bench. Nacho still got more than 70% of volumes yet to be decripted. He should be a dominant figure in any of the top five teams in the world; fulcrums in the likes of Mbappe, Salah, Mane, Sterling etc.
