Arsenal legend, Ian Wright says he won’t be surprise if Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen decided to join Premier League side, Chelsea.

Recall that the Nigerian international has been in outstanding form for the Italian side this season, attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.

Osimhen has scored 28 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions this season helping Napoli win their first league title in 33 years.

Napoli value Osimhen at more than £100m, and Wright says he ‘would not be surprised’ if Chelsea brought him to Stamford Bridge.

Wright said on his Ringer FC podcast: “I wonder where he’s going to end up? It wouldn’t surprise me if it was Chelsea. Chelsea are going to try and get him I think.”

U are dreaming…. Wil u advise ur top country strikers to go to a team not playing in Europa not to even talk of champions league… Any team not playing in champions shud not come for oshimen. Even with £250m ..

    • If Chelsea is not playing in the UCL next season does it mean they will not play in the UCL again?…..Or is Osimhen only signing a 1 year contract with them?…. please explain sir.

Let Chelsea go for haaland instead .

  • Honestly I want him to go to Bayern just to avoid this biased English media once he had a few bad games they’ll all come for him especially if they pay hug fee for his signature.

Complete Sports discriminates against Women’s Football. The Super Falcons will be at the FIFA World Cup in July. No reportage on the girls. Disgraceful.

When will The NFF terminate the contract of Salisu Yusuf. He couldn’t even qualify for U23 AFCON. Is there no other coach from his village, Local Government, state or Geopolitical zone that can be picked to replace him since it is their birth right? When will NFF stop disgracing Nigeria with the way corrupt officials are being placed on golden plates. We are embarrassed by how coach Salisu is being recycled all over the place without shame. I come in peace.
