‘It’s Difficult To Say No’ — Eguavoen Ready To Lead Super Eagles Against Benin, Rwanda

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) technical director, Augustine Eguavoen has accepted the responsibility of managing the Super Eagles in the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Benin Republic and Rwanda.

The NFF announced on Friday, Eguavoen will take charge of the Super Eagles for the two games after German tactician Bruno Labbadia rejected offer to assume role as new handler of the team.

It is the fourth time the former defender will mount the saddle as Super Eagles coach.

The 59-year-old stated that he is ready for the challenge of managing the team again.

“Remember football gave me name and fame and the country gave me opportunity so it’s difficult to say no at this point because of the circumstances we find ourselves. “

The Super Eagles will host the Cheetahs of Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Saturday, September 7.

Because of greed you Eguzero did not support coaches that satisfied contractual agreement!
You are trying to fool your fellow dumbos with pretenses. You claimed you were not aware of the plan but went searching for foreign assistant before the fake news of contract break down.
The day the nff wipes off the fingerprints of Picnic for the system (Gusau, Eguzero and co) then our football will get to breath again.
The EFCC should act fast and investigate these rogues and dumbos fooling themselves.

Hmmm…The man that shifted Iwobi to the wing to accommodate Nwakali, the man that have never heard of Dessers or watch him play till date, the man with 4-4-2 formation or nothing, you are welcome back.

Allah helps you veteran coach Egavouen ; I recommend you to accompany Siasia , Slyvanus Okpala who has strong smartness matches reading , also has an aspect to put plan (b) for Super Eagles matches, then you can win these matches; also could take with Ike Shoronmu as goalkeeper trainer , Amusa Adessa as physical trainer…

Until this man is tossed far away from Nigeria’s football house fans will know no peace… Eguaveon is AGIP (All Government In Power). Why cant we just get the Eric Chelle the Ex-Mali coach? That guy use pin-point tactics to dismantle Super Eagles earlier this year… in the last AFCON, his team played very bold against CIV and almost kicked out the host…

I can’t express my dislike for this immoral man Friday called Eghuavoen. His face sickens me, reminding me of all that is wrong with Nigerian football. Such a shameless human who cares only for his belly!

This is why we are where we are today as a nation.

Can you imagine celebrating with Ọbasanjọ, Babanjida, Goodluck Jonathan, Buhari and now, Tinubu. We are celebrating with our enemies and hope for the best? It won’t work that way kę.

Can you imagine this shameless NFF/Nigeria government running a lawless country called Nigeria? They are enjoying Nigeria among themselves while the citizens are struggling to make a living.

” 1 will do it for the love of the country and the game ,” Eguavoen told Mastersports.

“Remember football gave me name and fame and the country gave me opportunity so it’s difficult to say no at this point because of the circumstances we find ourselves. “

Of course “it’s difficult to say no” not because you love your country from the bottom of your heart but because of the personal gain and unnecessary fame you are seeking for. It’s funny and sad at the same time that some people are still praying for you on this platform?

Are you the only that can manage Eagles for the two Afcon qualifiers? No other good and capable local coaches out there apart from Amunike and Siasia ba?

When you are talking of love, I love this man Eguavon. I even called him Mr. No nonsense but when I saw the real Eguavon, I decided not call him Mr. no nonsense anymore.

If he call players to cam on merit, he won’t have issues with me.

The last time he was in charge of the Super Eagles, he invited the incompetent players to camp. Now, he is doing the same mistakes he made the last time.

For these reasons/NFF show of shame, I wanted to stop watching Super Eagles matches but if not because of Pompei, Deo, Kel, Ayphillydegreat, Chima E Samuel, Oakfield, Dr. Drey and others on this platform that will be begging me not to, I would turned my TV off next weekend when Super Eagles confront Oga Rohr’s team.

I can’t imagine how the brown envelopes would be flying around wotowoto among the NFF members now while the fans of the Super Eagles are nothing to the NFF but the noise makers. Hmmm.

Until we chase the bad people away and change ourselves. The way we think and the way we do things have to change if we want progress, peace of mind and a new Nigeria for ourselves and for our unborn generation. The choice is yours. If you like, keep pray for Eguavon/NFF the most biased and corruption group of people on earth. The time will tell. I’m in support
Of our own but not in this way. I do my things on merit. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

You’re only worrying yourself as no one cares.

Meanwhile, i would like the newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Coach Egu to field the following players:

Keeper: Nwabili if he’s match fit.

Defense: Ekong, Osayi, Basse and Ola

        Middle: Frank, Yussuf an Owobi

        Forwards: Osimhen, Lookman and Simon.

Others can be shuffled from the bench.

I commend Jimmyball suggestion to NFF to hire veteran Franch Malian coach Eric Chelle assited with Samsun Siasia, Sylvanus Okpala , Ike Shoronmu accompnied with his special assistants from France; I think this is an excellent suggestion for hiring suitable foreign coach who knows so much about African football and has an excellent and deep vision and tactics to manage the matches…

Demonic NFF led by Eguadiola will never leave this job for anyone. NFF is bent on having powers to select players themselves than the coaches. Hence they are forcing Eguavoen on Nigerians.
