Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey emerged as the heroes as their goals earned Fulham a shock 2-1 win against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Before Saturday’s Premier League clash, the last time Fulham defeated United was on 19 December, 2009.
Iwobi’s late strike means he is the first Fulham player to score a winning goal at Old Trafford since Steed Malbranque in October 2003.
While Iwobi now has four Premier League goals this season, Bassey netted his first-ever goal for Fulham.

Fulham took the lead in the 65th minute as Bassey volleyed into the roof of the net off a rebound from a corner.
Harry Maguire thought he had earned at least a point for United when he slotted home on 89 minutes.
But in the 97th minute Iwobi got the winner, as he collected a pass from a counter, cut inside and shot into the net with Andre Onana stranded.
At Villa Park, Taiwo Awoniyi provided an assist but Nottingham Forest lost 4-2 to Aston Villa.
With Villa 3-0 ahead, Forest pulled a goal back in the fifth minute of first half stoppage time as Awoniyi set up Moussa Niakhate to make it 3-1.
The Super Eagles striker was replaced by Divock Origi before the start of the second half.

How is he an idiot? is he lying, will this be the first time he would do such, So what if he is other peoples children, is he being paid to come and play silly for the national team. Abeg shift
What ur obsession with Ur football u are not Nigerian and will never be pls backoff
Some people are fulfilling what the Bible prophecied nearly a thousand years ago at 2Timothy 3:1-5 that people will be easily angry, wicked, fierce, not open to any agreement, aggressive. Why should someone curse and swear for someone that made his own comment expressing his own opinion? Some praise Iwobi, some criticize him, some critize those who praise or criticize him. It’s all fun. But cursing and swearing and abusing is just below the belt. It’s an offence itself before God and man.
I tell you my brother! Alot of them think it’s only when you fornicate, commit adultery kill etc that is sin.. they don’t know that insult, abuses, curses on someone who has done nothing wrong is sin itself…
Thumbs up Esse.
The Naija connection gets Fulham all 3 points.
Congrats to Bassey on his first goal for Fulham. What a place to get it though. At the Theater of Dreams!
See Iwobi doing his thing as a winger today. That’s where he is productive. As a winger or AM.
The way he took his goal, brought back memories of Ronaldinho.
Or shall we say, only Man United can make Iwobi resemble Ronaldinho…HAHAHAHA!
Tosin also put in a good shift. Looked solid at the back alongside Bassey. Well played.
What Onana escaped at afcon.
He received the slapping today.
Iwobi under Peseiro was strange to watch. Iwobi is still fan favourites.
