Iwobi Wants To Give Ancelotti Selection Headache

Alex Iwobi hopes he will get the chance to play on a regular basis for Everton in the coming weeks after impressing in Wednesday night Carabao Cup win against Fleetwood Town, reports Completesports.com.

The Toffees defeated Fleetwood Town 5-2 to secure a place in the third round of the competition.

Iwobi bagged a goal and an assist in the game.

The Nigeria international missed Everton’s opening two games of the campaign due to injury and started from the bench versus West Bromwich Albion last weekend.

He is however determined to get more game time at the club.

“Our performance tonight showed the confidence and the quality we have,” Iwobi told Sky Sports.

“We’ve got strength in depth and were able to rotate the team and get a performance today so it shows we have a good team for the season.

“It was a good experience for me to get 90 minutes under my belt as I’m trying to get fit for all competitions so it was good for the manager to give me the opportunity today.
“Everyone wants to play so hopefully I can give the manager a migraine and get involved as – much as I can.”

Iwobi, well done man! Continue to give them headache and continue to dish out your delicious humble pie which I ate yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed. Your performance is even making some of your so called fans confused. Yesterday the coaches do not like you, today, you are their Maradona. Yesterday Everton was not the best club for you,Today Everton is your Barcelona. Hahaha hahaha!!! I am loving this o! These sheep in sheep clothing fans keep wearing different skins everyday depending on how you perform. Trust me, they are more poisonous and deadly than wolves in sheep clothing, if you think about it. I will keep away from such confused fans if I were you o… I put it to them that they are liars, cheats and bullies. We will not be lied to and we will not be bullied o. Well done Iwobi. More goals and assists to your boots and more humble pies to my stomach. Hahahahahahah
