Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino has reiterated that Nicolas Jackson will succeed at the club despite heavy criticisms.
Recall that Jackson joined Chelsea last summer for £32million and has netted seven goals in 22 appearances this ongoing season in the Premier League.
However, in a press conference ahead of Brentford game today, Pochettino stated that Jackson’s first season with the Blues has not been really bad.

“It’s tough. Really tough. He is doing fantastic for me. You can see a player that fights, runs, wants the ball even when he made a mistake. Even if the fans are not happy, he will try again.
‘He will never give up. And he is scoring goals. In his first season here in England, he is doing well. Better than people maybe think. Much better.
‘Toney is a great striker with the experience of the Premier League. Jackson loves to watch different strikers and learn. He is very humble to listen and to accept when we show him different strikers or when we try to advise him on the game.’
