Not exactly the news many wanted to read. Lolzzzzzz. I no go laff tire.

  • Well…we no get choice as we no fit full camp with 20 year old Goalies.
    We need experience too.

  • Abeg na where the list itself dey?

    • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

If you ask me, na who make I ask. The trend of late is for us to be hearing of invited players through their club channels first before hearing from NFF. Their insistence, before renewing the coach’s contract, on having a ‘say’ in his lists was not a hoax after all.

Na wa o. Some people might be good for club doesn’t mean they will be good for national team. This administration e Dem never serious. Akepyi, Agu etc destiny does not align with the national team.

  • Rohr again! Rohr again! Rohr again!. Is this man serious I heard one of our brothers on CSN out of anger saying “Rohr need to go for psychiatric evaluation because of some decisions” L0lz oo.. bros whoever said it was dead right.

Guys it looks like Akpeyi will be in the sticks for Sierra Leone!. I didn’t expect any wonders from Rohr here we go guys let the frustrations begin again! Rohr I take my hat off to you for the most stubborn coach on the planet.

Akpeyi was in goal in our last competitive match so he’s expected to continue in the same vein against Sierra Leone next month, though against popular wish.

I do not see anyone usurping him yet.Unless he had a very poor game only then a new goalminder could get a chance to stake a claim in the team.

    Hmmmmmm! Like Buhari like Rohr!
This has already confirmed to me that as has been reported by Owngoalnigeria.com weeks ago, Paul Onuachu will be in that List. Smile!

I am sorry to say the truth as it is bitter most at times, Super eagles ain’t really leaving up to their full capacity under this man so far…

Insult me if you like and I won’t reply you back with insurt.

Ahahaahaha, this is like a season film. Our coaches are confused. Oga Rohr fans are not helping the situation. Chai, where can we go from here now?

If this news is true then Oga Rohr and Oga Agu have nothing to offer Nigeria period. We should give kudos to a Nigerian coach who took Enyeama to the world cup in Korea.

I have said it that this our darling team is bigger than the coaches in charge.

Akpeyi? While we have Osagwe who is doing wonderfully well?

Okoye and the new goalies are better than Akpeyi that the gaffers can not do without.

We can see clearly now that nobody hate Oga Rohr and his crew but they can’t give what they don’t have.

I don’t think Oga Rohr and Oga Agu can take this Super Eagles to a promised land Shikena. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • @Omo9ja…

U never failed me for one…. Always on the negative side….

What about ur under-firing ONUACHU that is expected on that list?
U pretend as if u have not heard that one….

It is only AKPEYI’s invitation u can complain, abi?

      When would u forgive AKPEYI?

So just bcos of that blunder at afcon against algeria that made u to dislike this young man up till date?

      • Dr. Drey 3 years ago

Abeg which blunder…? Algeria’s 1st goal was via an own goal deflected into his own net by Ekong. The seconf goal was a freekick into the top corner of the net. Is Akpeyi going to be the first goalkeeper to concede a freekick, albeit from a world class player like Mahrez…? Even Enyeama conceded freekick against an unknown quantity from Kenyan league.
Akpeyi is the 1st choice in a club that has 3 national team goalkeepers. He was one of the 3 goalkeepers nominated for GK of the season last season in a league that has the goalkeepers from almost 10 different countries. He walked back into the starting XI over the weekend after tidying up his papers and kept a clean sheet….possibly the first by the club this season.

The coach is fully responsible for the team….its his prerogative to choose whom he deems fit…he’s the one that will get rewarded when the team does well and the one that will get sacked if the team fails.
So anybody that is angry about Akpeyi’s invitation to the national team can go and jump into a well….LMAO.

“…I don’t think Oga Rohr and Oga Agu can take this Super Eagles to a promised land Shikena…”
Thank you. We have heard you…ngwa go back to your protest.
You’ve been saying this since 2016. Initially you said Oga rohr cannot qualify us for World cup…he did it. You said he cannot qualify us for AFCON….that Baxter and Amrouche are better than him….he did it, while you Baxter and Amrouche have been jobless for ages now. You said we will not go beyond the group stages of AFCON…..we were inches away from playing in the final and winning the trophy. LMAO. It seems the opposite of your evil wishes is always what ends up happening…Lolz. Now your wish was for us to be banned for 4 years……arent you tired of always being on the losing side…? LMAO
Face front and go back to your protests…how can you be commenting on CSN when lives have been lost…..if your family member was amongst the dead will you be here commenting…? If your family member was killed will you still be going to work…? Go and quit your job and leave SE alone too….LMAO.
Enemies of the progress of SE.

  • Sierra leone is not so much if a threat that we can not afford to “gamble” with Okoye or Osigwe in goal.

As a matter of fact, small games like this is when you introduce rookies.

    Thor us too conservative.
    Always playing safe.
    Damn it bro.

The way Siasia gambled with Dele Aiyenugba vs Guinea in Abuja and we got knocked out of 2012 AFCON right…? Well done. We never learn from history.

Small games like these is also where Keshi introduced rookies and then we lost to Congo in Calabar and also needed a 94 minute equalizer to draw Kenya in Calabar too and eventually missed out on 2015 AFCON.

Instead of “gambling” at this stage, why not go full force with all your trusted arsenal and dispatch Sierraleone home and away and guarantee your qualification with 2 games in hand first before thinking of gambling.

Better be safe than be sorry. Leave the conservative Rohr like that. The boldness and courage of some people got us to miss 3 out of 4 afcons in the past.
