Samuel Kalu is close to a return for Ligue 1 club Girondis Bordeaux following his latest injury setback, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigeria international picked up an injury on international duty with Nigeria in October and missed four league games as he battled his way back to full fitness.
Kalu returned to action in the away win at Stade Rennes last month and suffered a replase on the injury.
The 23-year-old has missed Bordeaux’s last two league games against Paris Saint Germain and Brest as a result of the latest setback.
According to AIOFootball.com, the winger is getting close to full match fitness and can’t wait to help his club’s push for a place in Europe next season.
