Lyon sporting director Juninho has ruled out summer exits for both Memphis Depay and Moussa Dembele. Netherlands international Depay has been in impressive form since leaving Premier League outfit Manchester United for Lyon in January 2017, scoring 34 goals from 89 Ligue 1 appearances.

The 25-year-old’s performances had helped Les Gones finish third in the French top flight, securing a place in qualifying for the Champions League, and there is interest in his services from across Europe. French forward Dembele has also enjoyed a good debut season after making the move from Celtic last summer, netting 15 league goals this term, and a number of teams are also keeping tabs on him.
However, Juninho has revealed the duo will not be leaving the Groupama Stadium this summer as they are key to the future of the club. “There will only be three departures from the club this summer and they won’t be either Moussa Dembele or Memphis Depay,” he said. “Moussa’s form has been a nice surprise for us this season. “He’s very good technically and we want to build on that. We want to keep him and we will.”
