Klopp Dismisses Juventus Talk

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is a big admirer of Serie A but has dismissed talk of a potential switch to Juventus.

The Italian giants are seeking a new manager after recently confirming Massimiliano Allegri is to leave his post.

Reports claim Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is holding back on naming Allegri’s successor until after the Champions League final in case Klopp or Tottenham counterpart Mauricio Pochettino become available.

But Klopp, who is seeking his first piece of silverware with Liverpool this weekend, insists he isn’t interested in making the switch. “Yes, of course Serie A is very attractive as a championship. There is nothing true, however, in the rumours that would tie me to Juventus,” Klopp said. “I hear some journalists talking about it but it’s b******t.

Italy is beautiful, I do not know the atmosphere of the games, however, because I have seen the matches only on television. “Sometimes even without sound because I am only interested in the game and other aspects. Certainly Serie A is an attractive league.”
