Kubica Calls For Williams Consistency

Robert Kubica feels consistency will be the key to turning Williams season around during the second half of the year.

Kubica is now back driving in Formula 1 after a horrific crash while rallying threatened to end his participation in motor sport.

However, it has not been a happy return for the Polish flyer, with just one point to his name during the first part of the 2019 campaign.

That is one better than team-mate George Russell, however, as the Grove-based marque continue to struggle.

There is still a long way to go and, while Williams will not be challenging anywhere near the front of the grid this year, Kubica feels there are better times ahead if they can be more consistent.

“It has been complicated. Overall, there are a few things that we have to get on top of apart from the performance of the car,” he told Motorsport.com.

“I think once we fix them or we have more consistency it will be much easier, so hopefully the second part of the year we’ll get on top of it and then at least we’ll be able to have consistent performance every weekend, which will be much easier.”
