“I know where he (Osimhen) comes from, I know his story he made a big game and managed to ask us a lot of problems in defense. He will make a big career,”Lampard told reporters after the game.

“He  was hugely impressive. Tonight was going to be a tough match for our defenders. His performance individually was really good.”

Lille are without a win in the group from two games, while Chelsea have three points from same number of games.

    Even Lampard knows.

  • The stars are almost in perfect alignment with us. Nigeria is brimming with soccer talents. Time to polish them into gems and make a powerful statement in the world. But Nigeria is fond of wasting what God has blessed her with. That’s the fear. What we didn’t pay for, we don’t value. What a pity. Give half of our talented boys to some African countries and they’ll shake the world. Over to our administrators: an enabling environment. Let’s polish these boys into gems. NOW! This is our chance: as the title of a small play I read in high school decades ago says.

  • Haaaaa bigger boys in world football knows our super Vic Osimhen, guy ride on,
