Lampard: Where Iwobi Needs To Improve

Everton manager, Frank Lampard has pinpointed the areas Alex Iwobi needs to improve, reports Completesports.com.

Iwobi has established himself as a key player for the Toffees casting aside initial doubts over his potentials.

The 26-year-old has thrived in a new central midfield role this season forming a formidable partnership with Andre Onana and Idris Gueye.

The Nigeria international has played every minutes of Everton’s eight Premier League games this season.

He has contributed four assists making him a central figure in the team.

Despite Iwobi’s superlative performances, Lampard believes he can continue to improve.

“Can he add more to his game? Yes. In and around the final third he can do more because his talent says so,”Lampard told a press conference on Friday.

” In-game he can do more, he can assist more, maybe score himself a bit more, but I’m not complaining there, he’s been fantastic for us.”

Iwobi is expected to be in action when Everton host Manchester United at the Goodison Park on Sunday night.

The most ridiculous aspect of it is that he returned to his job as technical director instead of doing the honorable thing which is to resign he broke millons of Nigerians heart and he is still there earning his salary on tax payers money, this guy’s no get shame and conscience,he is still there making decisions imposing players on piesoro that was y de sacked GR cos he doesn’t listen to there nosense though at some point GR let his guards down though nobody is perfect anyways, they knew the nations cup is around the corner they where going to make money from players n agents,de missed the real diamond while chasing stone, the only solution to Nigeria’s problem is a bloody revolution cos every sector has been compromised no b to divide be d solution

My friend keep shut if you have nothing to say. iwobi is crap and i will repeat it anywhere. When we speak the truth we still are the problems of the country. You come him a professional, he is the reason we didn’t move forward at the nations cup. Abi was it eguavoen that instructed him to accumulate yellow cards not to feature for the second leg.
