Lazio are reportedly ready to rival Fiorentina for the services of Fernando Llorente, whose Spurs contract expired earlier this month. The Spaniard has not yet signed for any club, although he was rumoured to be close to sealing a deal with Serie A outfit Fiorentina.
But Italian newspaper Il Messaggero claims Lazio have since got in touch with the 34-year-old’s representatives. The Roman club are looking to replace Felipe Caicedo, who is entering the final year of his contract. Last week, Spurs were said to be ready to offer Llorente fresh terms just three weeks after his agreement with the club expired.
However, nothing appears to have come from that and the ex-Athletic Bilbao star seems destined to try his luck elsewhere, with a return to Italy, where he previously played for Juventus, on the cards.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com
