Newly-promoted Lecce are reportedly close to agreeing a deal to sign Besiktas striker Burak Yilmaz. Sportitalia reports the 34-year-old is on the verge of making the move to Lecce and talks have already been held with all parties over a deal.
It is claimed club officials will travel to Turkey on Monday to rubber-stamp the transfer and it should be announced early next week. Yilmaz is an experienced Turkey international, who has scored 24 goals in 56 games for his country, while he impressed in the second half of last season for Besiktas, scoring 16 times in just 22 games.
