Levante will push to sign Nigeria defender Kenneth Omeruo from Leganes this summer, reports Completesports.com.
Omeruo, 26, signed permanently for Leganes last summer from Premier League club Chelsea.
According to Spanish online news hub Marca, Levante are in the market for a new centre-back and has Omeruo top of their shortlist.
Leganes paid Chelsea €5m for Omeruo and will look to make a profit on one of their reliable defenders.
Omeruo will miss the rest of the campaign after picking up a hamstring injury in a league game against against Sevilla last month.
The defender featured for seven minutes in the game.
This season, he played 23 matches and scored a goal in La Liga.
Leganes, who have another Nigerian, Chidozie Awaziem in their ranks are fighting hard to escape relegation in LaLiga.
They boosted their survival hopes Sunday by upsetting Valencia 1-0 at home.
They are second from bottom with 32 points from 36 matches with two rounds of matches still to be played.
