Bayer Leverkusen have hailed Victor Boniface following his third consecutive nomination for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award.
On Monday, the three-man shortlist for the October Rookie of the Month was announced on the Bundesliga X handle.
Boniface, who won the award in August and September, will battle with Xavi Simons of Leipzig and Brajan Gruda of Mainz.

Reacting to Boniface’s nomination again, Leverkusen wrote on X:“Here we go… again! 💪.
“Victor Boniface is once again up for

Rookie of the Month! 😮💨🇳🇬.”
In the month in review, the 22-year-old scored in the matchday 7 derby defeat of Cologne and set up a strike for the league leaders in their 2-1 win over Wolfsburg.
That gave him 10 goal involvements before matchday 10 and makes him the most prolific contributor to the lightning start of Leverkusen this season.
He had 15 attempts on goal last month – a league-high – taking his tally to 54 for the campaign, well ahead of Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane (36) who has the next-most attempts across the German top flight.
Meanwhile, the winner of the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month award for October will be decided by votes from fans, clubs and selected Bundesliga experts.

Boni is doing great with his build up play and assists but can even get better if he works on his goal conversion rate.
The unavailability of Osimhen xod b2 a blessing in disguise. I want to see the pair of Awoniyi (if he will be available) and Boni in the attack. They both look explosive and tenacious with good conversion rate.
