Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi played for 70th minute as Lorient edged Brest 1-0 in Sunday’s Ligue 1 game.
The Nigerian international who was making his 24th appearance for the visitors, was a threat on Brest all through the time he was on the pitch.
He was however, substituted in the 70th minute for Ibrahima Kone.
Few minutes after coming on, the substitute scored the winning goal in the 73rd minute with a low drive shot that beat Brest goalkeeper, Marco Bizot.
The victory means Lorient sit 16th on the league table on 24 points while Brest sit 12th on 32 points.
In the other fixture, Super Eagles winger, Simon Moses was missing in action as Nantes held Metz to a goalless draw on Sunday.
The Nigerian international was not dressed for the encounter.
