Ligue 1: Simon On Target As Nantes Draw At Home, Extend Winless Run

Super Eagles forward Moses Simon got on the score sheet but it was not enough for Nantes, who were held to a 1-1 home draw against Dijon in Sunday’s Ligue 1 fixture, Completesports.com reports.

The result means Nantes are now winless in their last five games, losing two and drawing three.

Simon opened the scoring for Nantes in the 24th minute after converting from the penalty spot.

It was Simon’s second goal for Nantes in the current campaign.

But nine minutes into the second half Dijon were back on level terms thanks to Moussa Konate.

Nantes now occupy 14th on 14 points in the Ligue 1 table.
