This pitch is too small very comfortable for opposition to defend against us.I’m afraid playing against Libya here when we are in dare need of scoring lots of goals is bad from what I have seen.Super eagles would have scored more goals on a bigger pitch.

See Uzoho again. Overhyped kipper. Old man

  • Abeg se asaba people no like football. look at the poor turn out. We really need a goalkeeper. I just want to believe rohr is not accepting bribes from agents

This is why I hoped for a better pitch.

  • This pitch is far too small, to see a beautiful game of football, Nigeria must ensure we get beautiful pitches like in South Africa.
How can the players perform when they are playing on a pitch that looks as if they are playing a Saturday set game.
I wont only condemn the pitch alone, that keeper is atrocious.

  • Is Etebo really our best freekick taker? He’s too green in that role abeg. He’s ballooning and wasting every freekick. He doesn’t place them well either – often too low or too high to beat a good goalkeeper. We still need Moses back for this role. And we’re missing Kalu’s tricks to split open these denfensive game plan of Seychelles.

Uzoho, lol. What was that? Was he trying to punch the ball or catch it? Very bad decision making. Hope goalkeeping will not be our Achilles hill at the Afcon.

Still no aerial camera and other side view cameras installed in this rather small stadium. Is this the standard stadium size these European based players are used to? Uyo is bigger and more standard. I’m afraid the U23 Eagles may crash out if Pinnick brings the match here.

The Seychelles team played 0-0 away with SA earlier on, so dem no be “come chop”. Having said that, I expected more from our lads. And the sub-par performance is largely down to the poor pitch. Any advantage our boys had has been narrowed by the poor pitch. As for Uzoho’s howler, I won’t call him “calamity Uzoho” yet. He’s human, after all. Let’s hope for a better second half.

The pitch is the worst in the whole of Africa. Even, UNIBEN Stadium is far better than this Asaba village stadium.

Man (or men) of the match – public announcers. They talked us to distraction. Unnecessary talk. Poor commentaries. They were a total nuisance.
The team did better in the second half. Semi came in and formed a formidable double pivot with Ndidi in midfield. Simon’s intro galvanized the attack.
On a better pitch, I believe our boys would have produced much more than what we saw today.
