Liverpool have again been linked to Turkish talent Abdulkadir Omur – but they could also now be tracking two other Trabzonspor players. Reports in Turkey this week claimed Liverpool sent a scout to watch Omur, 19, in action when Trabzonspor were beaten 3-1 by champions Galatasaray last weekend.
The Turkey Under-21 international was said to be a hot target for Jurgen Klopp in the January transfer window, but Liverpool rubbished the rumours which came to nothing in the end.
Omur is a top talent but may not be ready to play in his favoured position as a number ten in the Premier League on a regular basis.
However, the Turkish rumour mill continues to link their domestic talent with other clubs and now Karadeniz Gazete claim Liverpool are showing interest in two other teenagers at Trabzonspor.
Goalkeeper Arda Akbulut had a fine game against Galatasaray and he is now said to be of interest to the Reds, who could well be losing Simon Mignolet in the summer.
The 18-year-old was making only his second league appearance after stepping up from Trabzonspor’s Under-21 side.
And 18-year-old midfielder Behlul Aydin is the third name to be linked with the Reds, although he has yet to make a first-team appearance.
