Liverpool are not in the hunt to try and sign Lyon attacking midfielder Nabil Fekir again this summer, according to reports. Jurgen Klopp and the club were very keen to tie up a deal for him to join up last summer and had a reported deal in place of around 60million euros.
However, it fell through at the last minute because of concerns about historic knee trouble, leading to huge disappointment for the French World Cup winner. Reports in France have surfaced over the last couple of days which appear to suggest Liverpool would like to go back in for the 25-year-old.
However, fresh reports suggest Liverpool have no interest currently in bringing him to Anfield as they are still concerned about any potential injury troubles. Fekir is entering the final year of his deal at Lyon and the club have placed a £45million price tag in him, with club president Jean-Michel Aulas admitting there is an “understanding” to let him leave.
