Lazio have completed the signing of young Liverpool forward Bobby Adekanye on a four-year contract. The 20-year-old spent his youth career with some of Europe’s biggest names but hasn’t been afforded the opportunity to play senior football.

He started out in Ajax’s academy before enjoying spells with Barcelona and PSV, eventually joining Liverpool in the summer of 2015. Adekanye told Liverpool of his intention to leave in December and has since refused to sign a new contract at Anfield.
Reports claim the Nigeria-born Dutch attacker has signed a four-year contract with Simone Inzaghi’s side. Lazio said in a statement: “The SS Lazio announces that it has signed and filed an employment contract with the footballer Habeeb Omobolaji Adekanye.”
