Lookman Returns To Atalanta Training

Ademola Lookman returned to training with Serie A club Atalanta on Wednesday after his early return from international duty.

Lookman sustained a minor injury in Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Abidjan last week Thursday.

The 27-year-old missed the Super Eagles home clash with the Amavubi of Rwanda on Monday.

According to Calcio News24, he was involved in light workout at the club’s training centre.

The winger is now in contention to face Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini on Saturday.

Lookman has been in fantastic form for Atalanta this season, scoring eight goals and providing five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
