Ademola Lookman opened his La Liga goals account for the new season as Atletico Madrid defeated Sevilla 3-1 away on Saturday.
The win took Atletico to top spot on seven points while Sevilla are in fifth position on six points in the league table.
Also in action was Chidera Ejuke, who was brought on in the 55th minute. Lookman was taken off on 66 minutes.
The contest looked to have been over in the first half after Atletico raced to a 3-0 lead thanks to goals from Alex Baena (brace) and Lookman, before Miguel Angel Sierra pulled a goal back for Sevilla.
Atletico got off to a wonderful start as Baena opened the scoring just four minutes into the clash.

In the 26th minute Lookman doubled the lead with a well drilled low shot which beat the Sevilla keeper at his near post.
Then in the 33rd minute Baena got his second goal of the game to extend the lead to 3-0.
Look thought he had made it 4-0 but his effort was overturned for offside.
But in the 66th minute Angel Sierra was on target to bring the scoreline to 3-1.
all efforts by Sevilla to claw their way back into the game was futile as Atletico held on to record their second league win (one draw).
