Elijah Adebayo has once again reiterated his desire to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, reports Completesports.com.
The Luton Town striker was born in England to Nigerian parents.
The 26-year-old is eligible to represent both Nigeria and England.
Adebayo has however expressed his love for Nigeria.
“Heritage is big for me, obviously. My mum was born in Nigeria… I am proud to be Nigerian and I would love to play for Nigeria,”he said in a video shared on X.
The lanky hitman is enjoying a fine season with Luton Town.
Adebayo has scored nine goals in 26 league appearances for the Hatters.
He is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury.
