Lyon Set Midfielder Fee

Lyon Set Midfielder Fee

Tottenham have been told they will have to pay £63million to have any chance of signing Lyon’s Tanguy Ndombele this summer, reports claim. It has been suggested that negotiations between the two clubs are continuing and Tottenham have been told they will have to match that valuation if they are to get him on board.

The versatile midfielder is clearly a top target for Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is keen to make his first signing in 12 months, but there is plenty of work to be done before it can be unveiled. Tottenham are in a strong position as the player has hinted he would be more than happy to sign for ‘big club’ Spurs, but the two clubs still have to agree on the fee.

Players that can improve Pochettino’s squad will not be easy to come by and the club will have to push the boat out to have a chance of kicking on to the next level. Boosted by a place in the Champions League final, Spurs look to have the extra cash to make a move, despite the expense of moving in to the new stadium.
