Spanish giants Real Madrid and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement on principle with RB Leipzig over the transfer of Cote d’Ivoire international Yan Diomandé. as reported by RMC Sport (via Yahoo Sports).
PSG, with whom Diomandé initially had an agreement on personal terms, have walked out of the deal. Diomandé’s transfer fee is expected to go above the €100m mark.
For weeks, the back-to-back Champions League winners were the favourite to sign Diomandé. But PSG’s efforts to lower his transfer fee have backfired, with the player now set to join Real Madrid.

RMC Sport adds that PSG have decided not to yield to RB Leipzig’s financial requirements with Les Parisiens keen on not overpaying for Diomandé.

Your analysis is correct. Osimhen was offered Chelsea on loan with a paycut, he refused and chose Turkey. Had he accepted and been successful, by now he would be one of the highest paid footballers. Iheanacho rather than a paycut chose division II of Turkey, and of course Akor Adams. What they display is called being “Penny wise pound foolish”, either they have no confidence in their ability to prove their worth or they’re money insecure. The latter is usually the case as most were born in poverty and plan short term.

He has since been involved in an extensive 1st week of pre season at Atletico with initial pre-season matches scheduled vs Getafe on Wednesday, Man Utd and Man City.
Mateu Alemany the sporting director is currently looking to offload
Sortloth, Ruggeri, Lema and Giménez prior to season start.
Obviously if Lookman does depart, you would have been right and I would have been wrong.
But currently that is not looking to be the case at all.
Gordon is 24, Lookman is 28, after all the bad feelings generated by Barcelona pursuit of Alvarez, Its unlikely they would have considered Lookman too, even if he was available at a lower fee than Gordon.
Lookmans weekly incl bonus (Source: Capology are gross 249K Euro (Net 144K Euro per week) which represents a tripling of what he was earning at Atalanta.
Lookman appears to very contented at Atletico and with a full pre-season, who knows what he might he achieve this season.

You correctly mentioned that Simone, had pointed out, that certain facets of Lookman’s team play needed to be worked on, for him, to properly integrate into his preferred playing structure at Atletico.
But these comments were made early on in Lookman’s tenure.
Since then Simone has specifically mentioned he has not had a profile of Lookman’s ability in his time at Atletico and he has now valuing Ademola’s ability and desire to not only create dangerous moments but particularly his goals especially against high class opposition.
