Man United Create Unwanted UCL Record In Home Loss To Bayern

Manchester United created an unwanted UEFA Champions League record after losing 1-0 to Bayern Munich at Old Trafford on Tuesday.

A Kingsley Coman 70th minute goal subjected United to their fourth defeat in Group A.

After six games, United finished bottom with four points, Galatasaray places third while Bayern and Copenhagen progressed to the round of 16.

According to OptaJoe, United conceded 15 goals in the UEFA Champions League this season, the most ever by a Premier League side in a single group stage in the competition.

They finished bottom of a UEFA Champions League group for just the second time, previously doing so in 2005-06.

Also, the Red Devils have lost 12 of their 24 games in all competitions this season, as many as they lost in 62 matches across the whole of 2022-23.
