Manchester United vs Liverpool: Three weeks will separate Manchester United and Liverpool’s legendary FA Cup quarter final matchup before they face off again. They will face off against one another in the 32nd round of the Premier League this season.
The game is set to take place at Old Trafford this afternoon (Sunday). Liverpool enter this game having won nine of their previous eleven league games, drawn one, and lost one. The game at Gtech Community Stadium last weekend saw far too many open looks given to Brentford by Manchester United.

After scoring one of his team’s two goals in their victory over Brighton last weekend, Mohamed Salah increased his goal in the Premier League to 16 goals. Today, Manchester United will resume their demanding schedule.
Just three days earlier, they flew to the capital to play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Erik ten Hag’s crew won’t approach this with the best of intentions. They played a hardly competitive 1-1 game against Brentford last Saturday, and they did not look good.
Liverpool were playing on Thursday night, but they were playing at Anfield against Sheffield United who were at the bottom of the league. After defeating the Blades, they took back the top spot in the Premier League rankings, then slipped to the second spot behind Arsenal who won 3-0 at Brighton on Saturday night.. With eight games remaining, Jurgen Klopp’s team is behind Arsenal by one point and has the same points haul (70) with Manchester City.
Manchester United vs Liverpool: Betting Analysis
Liverpool appear to be in good shape going into the match at Old Trafford. They had earlier played eleven Premier League games, winning nine, drawing one, and losing one. The Reds will be driven to defeat their bitter cross-town rivals in order to take a significant step closer to winning the league title. Since the start of the season, Manchester United have fluctuated in their play.
But in the game against Brentford last weekend, their back line was disorganised. It still baffles fans how the Bees did not score three goals or more in that game. Today, we will take Liverpool at 1.70 odds to win. This season, Mohamed Salah has also been Liverpool’s best player.

So far in this Premier League season, he has scored sixteen goals. Seven days ago, in a 2-1 victory over Brighton, the Egyptian King found the back of the net. He will have an abundance of space to pass the vulnerable Manchester United defense. Mo Salah is available at 1.95 odds to score at any point on Sunday.
