Umar Sadiq can’t hide his excitement after helping Valencia record an important victory over Athletic Bilbao at the San Mames on Sunday, Comppletesports.com reports.
Carlos Corberán’s side defeated their hosts 1-0 to move five points clear of the relegation zone.
Sadiq came off the bench to score the decisive goal in the 72nd minute.
Sadiq Revels In Away Win
The striker reckoned it was an important victory for Valencia, who are fighting to escape relegation.
“These are three very important points for the team. We have to keep going like this,” Sadiq was quoted by the club’s official website.

Ready For Vallecano Test
Los Che will host Rayo Vallecano in their next league game at the Mestalla this weekend.
Sadiq declared that they will give their best to secure maximum points in the game.
“Now we’re going to play at the Mestalla Stadium. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but we always try to give our best,” added the Nigeria international.
The forward has has registered four goals, and two assists in 14 league appearances for Valencia.
