Is goalie Adeleke from Israel joining the trip as speculated by Own goal? Peseiro should put an end to our goalie worries just as we expect him to brace up the defence.

Why are the Super Eagles not also playing Uruguay? Going to the US and playing only two matches is not enough. Also why no matches against European teams? Gernot Rohr was very good at organizing preparatory friendlies. In his charge, the SE played more friendlies against a host of national teams from Poland to Serbia

The 2023 AFCON qualifiers will be about 1 week after the 2nd friendly vs Ecuador, so there wont be enough time to play another friendly, given that the team will still have to fly across 2 continents to play their next match within the space of 1 week
