Midtjylland Reject AC Milan’s €4m Bid For Onyedika

Danish club Midtjylland have rejected AC Milan’s €4million for Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika.

Milan are looking for a midfielder on the market and have identified Onyedika as their primary target.

Club legend Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are yet to replace Côte d’Ivoire star Franck Kessie who joined Barcelona in the summer

And Tommaso Pobega’s appearance off the bench against Udinese did not provide huge guarantees. Work is thus underway on the market and an offer has even been presented for Onyedika.

And as reported by Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it), Milan put forward a €4m on the table but Midtjylland immediately rejected it, asking between €7-10m instead.

Maldini and Massara are keen on signing the Nigerian youngster, aged 21, and will insist on reaching a compromise in the negotiations.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of the situation will be, but it’s clear Milan are working on signing a midfielder.

Because they are just playing ludo? They are running a business and if they are to lose their prized asset then adequate compensation is in order. If AC Milan buy him at 4m euro and onyedika is successful, how much do you think AC milan will sell him for?? 7m eur for a player of onyedika’s ability is reasonable in my opinion.

This guy right here has the ability to reach great heights in the game. How he has not be called up to the SE till date is criminal. Voted best young player in the whole of denmark. Our handlers need to scout better, this dude could reach the heights of John Mikel Obi, he is that talented. Passing range, mobility, marking, pressing, tracking, passing forward and strength. One negative i have seen is his shooting, not his greatest attribute. In my opinion, he is already an upgrade to Etebo and Onyeka.

Our next friendly against portugal, i will like to see Alhassan yusuff and Onyedika in the eagles midfield. These 2 are doing very well for their respected clubs.

      • our scouting team does not see talents early enough until they are identified by another country who will work to have them play for them. That’s when NFF wakes up from their slumber. I have never seen a country like ours o. Like you, I dey wonder why Onyedika and Alhassan are still not in SUPER EAGLES.

    EHEN!

This is the KIND of BIG CLUB MOVE PEOPLE like ME LOVE to be HEARING…

Abeg make them ALLOW the GUY GO

  • This is business. They won’t let him go for cheap. They know they have a diamond in the rough. AC Millan will do the same when the talent becomes a finished product. The name of the game is business. I just pray the two teams reach agreement but to let him go for cheap will not happen.

Little onyedika on the verge of moving to almighty ac Milan why some are still hyping nwakali who hv played in the lowers leagues since he moved to Europe over 5 seasons ago

  • When I stated that this guy had a future in the super Eagles and could one day take over from ndidi, some people here were calling him average and what not. But we can see that a concrete offer has been made for him BY AC MILAN which shows they have identified something in him. I hope the deal goes through so he can show case his talent in a big league which will fast track his invite to the National team. He reminds me of a Sunday oliseh in his prime.

    • Abeg, he is not anything like Oliseh. Onyedika if u watch him closely, is so skillful nd technical that you won’t compare this bundle of skills nd techniques with Oliseh that was a bit slow nd predictable during his days. The guy is also very fast and enthusiastic whenever he is playing. Not underestimating Oliseh”s achievements during his days though.
I believe, if our scouting groups are very sincere abt wot they are doing, there should be no more delays in scouting for nd recommending him immediately to the Eagles coaching crew bcos of wot he is capable of doing. He should be the next man to Ndisi in our defensive midfield nd with a plus because he also plays very well as a central midfielder which also is as a result du

of his set of skills, techniques nd versatility.
Again, am still talking abt our scouting team whom has not yet seen the need to start making swift moves for the likes of Carney Chukwuemeka of Chelsea Fc nd Shoretire of Man United b4 the lure of d Juicy Three Lions’ of England packages wld turn their heads completely from us just like Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace. The above mentioned players including Onyedika Raphael nd perhaps Alhassan represents the best of our young midfielders if at all Nigeria has better ones in dat regards currently.
Pls, we need to act fast nd stop all these unnecessary aguements and politics by focus on improving our darling national team.

  • I pray AC Milan sign him bikonu.
I also wish he could one day go to one of the big French clubs or other leagues that emphasises on skills, techniques nd tactical awarenes.

In fact, l love this guy’s showings so much that l begin to imagine a super eagles squad with him as below:
Francis Uzoho, SABASTINE OSIGWE OF LUGANO FC, Maduka Okoye, Adeleye (goalkeepers),

Ola Aina, ISHAQ ABDULRAZAK OF ANDERLETCH, Calvin Bassey,Zaidu Sanusi, Troost Ekong, JORDAN TORUNARIGHA OF GENT, TOSUN ADERABAYO OF FULHAM, Seyo Ajayi, Kenneth Omeruah, Chigozie Awaziem, Kevin Akpoguma (Defenders),

Wilfred Ndidi,RAPHAEL ONYEDIKA OF MIDTJYLLAND,Oghenekaro Etebor, Frank Onyeka, Joe Aribo,SHOLA SHORETIRE OF MANCHESTER UNITED,YUSUF ALHASSAN OF ROYAL ANTWERP, Alex Iwobi,CARNEY CHUKWUDMEKA OF CHELSEA ( Midfield),

Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Dessres, BALOGUN OF ARSENAL AND NOW REIMS FC OF FRANCE, Terem Moffi, Taiwo Awoniyi, Samuel Chukwueze, Chiderah Ejuke, Henry Onyekuru (Attack).
