Former Kwara United and Enyimba coach, Samson Unuanel has lauded the impressive results been recorded in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Wednesday.
Recall that Yesterday, Abia Warriors defeated Sunshine Stars 4-1, Enyimba picked precious three points away from home when they edge Nasarawa United and Akwa United defeated Adamawa United 1-0 at the Ribadu Square Stadium.
Also, Enugu Rangers walloped Dakkada FC 3-0, Kano Pillars defeated Jigawa GS 2-0, Warri Wolves managed a 1-0 win over Plateau United, Wikki Tourists and Kwara United picked maximum points.
Reacting to the latest results, Unuanel told Completesports correspondent in a chat that this season’s NPFL would witness massive goal feast as a result of less pressure from fans.
“I am really impressed with Wednesday’s results of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). It is a sign of good things to come in the domestic league, particularly with teams going away to pick three points.
“I think the inability of fans to the stadium has created less pressure for some teams and I won’t be surprised if things continue to go this way.
“So far, Abia Warriors, Enyimba, Enugu Rangers, Kano Pillars, and Akwa United are my pick for this week’s midweek games,” he said.
