John Mikel Obi is in line to return to action for Stoke City in Saturday’s Sky Championship home clash against Blackburn Rovers, reports Completesports.com.
Mikel started the opening 14 games of the season since his arrival in the summer, but has missed the Potters last five through injury.
🗣 “We hope to have John Obi Mikel available tomorrow, he’s trained today so we’ll see if he has a reaction to that later today,”Stoke City manager Michael O’Neil declared during his interaction with the media on Friday.
“We’re hopeful that John Obi Mikel will make Saturday which will be a boost to us.
“I think he’ll be only one we’ll add.”
O’Neil’s side are without a win in their last three Championship games and will hope Mikel’s return to full fitness will bring them better luck.
The Potters remain two points off the top six and are in seventh place on the table.
