So can we say now that the ‘quarell’ betweem Mikel and Onazi is real…??? Since mikel’s much celebrated move to trabzonspor, I’ve watch with keen interest how somehow onazi as always been missing the the context, whenever news or pictures of mikel in trabzon pops up.
Having been buddies, growing up in Jos, and spent years together in the national team, being the immediate past captains of the team, one would assume Onazi would be the one to welcome mikel to turkey at the airport.
But in an era where news flies on the go…the conspicuous continuous absence of Eddy from the picture thus begs the question……’Could this animosity be indeed real…???’

    • The last line in the article though:

“Ogenyi Onazi is still recuperating following an injury he copped last season while playing for the club.”

@ BIg D…..I am very much aware of that.
But I am also very much aware of the fact that even when players are injured, they still owe it a duty to report at the club time and again, for checks and rehabs. The last time we heard about Onazi…he was already up on his feet but not so much as to be able to lace boots even for a practice game. So I want to believe he does more of the indoor stuff in his march towards returning to full fitness, but the question that bugs my mind is….does it mean the paths of the 2 ex-captains haven’t crossed up till this point…not to even a twitter post of post guys arm over shoulders within the club’s premises…???

            Thanks a lot…!
As an asst captain, you are as good as being a captain.
Onazi has captained the SE on a few occasions too.

Humans will always disagree on issues,it’s allowed, as we all are from different backgrounds. But when hate develop as a result of differences then devil takes advantage.
