John Mikel Obi was on target as Stoke City recorded a 5-1 win against Shrewsbury Town in a closed door friendly at Clayton Wood on Tuesday afternoon, reports Completesports.com.
Tashan Oakley-Boothe opened the scoring for Stoke City with a decent low drive on the edge of the box before the Shrews levelled from the spot.
Stoke City regained the lead when Mikel hit the back of the net late in the first half.
Mikel was replaced at half- time by Tom Ince.

Ince scored Stoke City’s third of the game, nodding the ball home after he was set up Bruno Martins Indi.
Benik Afobe and Tyrese Campbell scored the other goals for the Potters.
