Milivojevic Hoping To Repay Palace Fans

Crystal Palace midfielder Luka Milivojevic claims his team are doing all they can to repay their fans after their defeat to Brighton.

The Eagles remain in a relegation battle after the disappointing defeat on home soil on Saturday. Milivojevic’s penalty was not enough to secure a point at Selhurst Park, with Anthony Knockaert grabbing the winner in the second half.

Palace are now just five points above the drop zone and the Serbia international insists his team can help ease the pain by reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup.

Roy Hodgson’s side take on Watford this weekend and Milivojevic has demanded a strong display. He told the club’s official website: “I feel at the moment very disappointed. I think for 90 minutes we controlled the game, we were the team who controlled and who decided.

“We’re going to try to reach the semi-final to bring our fans to Wembley. “We’re going to have a whole week to prepare for that game and from Monday, we are turning our attention to that one.”
