Captain Sean Morrison has praised the “unity in the group” at Cardiff after the weekend’s vital 2-0 win against West Ham.
Neil Warnock’s side responded to suggestions of there being a divided squad at the Cardiff City Stadium by picking up a much-needed three points at home to the Hammers on Saturday to remain just two points behind Burnley and Southampton in the final positions of Premier League safety.
However, Cardiff now face a tough run of fixtures, with clashes against Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool coming up in their next four games.
But Morrison is adamant that the spirit amongst the players in the camp could see them secure some surprise results in their fight for survival.
He said: “The performance out there showed how together we are, and the unity in the group. “It’s the best dressing room I’ve ever been in, on par with last year.
The boys that have come in and mixed with the boys that have been here for a while have all been fantastic.”
