“He helped me believe in myself. And the point is precisely in the human attitude, not because I found a new position on the right flank.

“I was ready to return [to Inter] before I joined Spartak. I had already discussed everything with Conte. But something did not work. Perhaps the financial situation has struck, I do not know.

“At some point, the directors of Spartak have made contact with my agents.

“Marina Granovskaya spoke to my agent and explained why Spartak was the best option.

“At that point, I started googling the club myself, and I watched several videos. I realized how important the team’s history is. Therefore, I immediately accepted their offer.”

  • There is nothing like when a coach is able to identify the strength of his players and use them appropriately in the team. Victor moses always played as either a winger, attacking midfielder or second striker for his previous teams but conte saw something else in him, the ability to hold on to the ball, run tirelessly and give good crosses. He was also powerful and not easily shrugged off the ball. In that chelsea team they had players who could play the wing and attacking midfield positions better than moses (hazard, willian, pedro). These guys scored goals more regularly than moses did im those positions. But conte needed what moses had and so he fashioned a system a formation that would include moses in his team and that led to his new role as a wing back in which he took to like a fish to water. He was one of the outstanding performers for the team that year as they won the premiership.
Conte still wanted him in inter Milan but It didn’t work out. all the same I understand why you say he was the best coach you worked with.
