Mourinho Tipped With Real Return

Jose Mourinho has been linked with a return to Real Madrid as interim manager until the end of the La Liga campaign.

There has been growing speculation that Santiago Solari’s time at the Bernabeu is coming to an end, especially after crashing out of the Champions League in midweek following a 4-1 thrashing on home soil by Ajax.

Mourinho is believed to be eager to make a swift return to management after the Portuguese tactician parted ways with Premier League giants Manchester United earlier this season.

The hierarchy at Los Blancos were reported to be in a meeting on Thursday to determine their next course of action and Mourinho is thought to be considered as an ideal replacement for Solari, who could be out of a job by the weekend.

Real are next in action on Sunday when they face Real Valladolid.
