Musa Happy To Be Back In Super Eagles For Benin Clash

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is delighted to be back in the team after missing the side’s last two games against Ukraine and Brazil as a result of injury, reports Completesports.com.

Musa recently returned to action for Saudi Arabia an club, Al Nassr after spending three months on the sidelines due to the setback.

The former Leicester City player last featured for the Super Eagles in the third-place match of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt against the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

He is however not thinking about getting a starting berth in Wednesday’s clash against the Squirrels of Benin.

“I feel good to be back in the team, starting the game is not my priority. The guys did well against Ukraine and Brazil,” Musa said during the pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

The Super Eagles, Squirrels clash will take place at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo on Wednesday. Kick-off is 5pm.
