The final journey of Ahmed Musa’s mother, late Sarah Moses will begin on Friday 24th May 2019 in Benin City, Edo State, Completesports.com reports.
The Super Eagles vice-captain and Al-Nassr winger, Musa released the details of burial arrangement for his late mother late Sarah Moses via his Instagram Page.
Sarah Moses died after a brief illness in an Abuja Hospital on the 24th of January 2019.
According to the post, the body of late Sarah Moses will leave the mortuary to her residence at Musa house off Ali Road, Off Akhigbe street Along Afuze-Auchi express road, Afuze Emai, Edo State where she will be buried.
“With a deep sense of loss and with gratitude to God Almighty for a life well spent. The family of Ekpokhai and Musa specially invite you to the burial ceremony of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt. Late Mrs. Sarah Moses Ekpokhai,” reads the message of the obituary Musa posted.
“Burial Arrangements: Friday 24th May 2019, 3pm, body leaves mortuary to her residence at Musa house, off Ali Road ,Off Akhigbe street Along Afuze-Auchi express road, Afuze Emai, Edo State.”
“6pm. Lying in State at the same venue. 7pm- Dawn Social wake keep and family rites at her residence, Musa house off Ali Road Off Akhigbe street Along Afuze-Auchi express road, Afuze Emai, Edo State.”

What a great woman, she definitely is. She a Christian woman from Edo state marrying a northern Muslim from Borno state, who lost her husband early. But single handedly raised her children and encouraging her son to purse his dream in football.
No wonder Musa has become a unifying captain for both the north and south, and also the Christians and Muslims and a great leader in Super Eagles.
